BIRTH PHILOSOPHY
It is my passion to help you discover your hopes and dreams for your birth and then walk with you to see them through. This is your birth, your body, and your journey to meet your baby. You have a right to feel respected, heard, and supported. As your doula I will never push my opinions on you but will instead inform you of your options and then support you in your decisions. Whether you are giving birth at home or hospital, natural, medicated or cesarean, with no support people or with a party, I will come along side you and your partner, without judgement, supporting you and your wishes one hundred percent.
MY FAMILY
My name is Crystal and I am a DONA trained doula and a student midwife. I have a stud muffin husband who supports me in everything I do and am a mother to four beautiful children, each with their own unique birth story. These birth experiences gave me a passion for helping women overcome the all too common fear of childbirth and helping them find confidence in themselves and their body's ability to give birth.
When I'm not hanging with my family or helping women through their beautiful childbirth journeys, I enjoy a quiet, serene place to sit and read a good book. My favorite place to relax is cuddled up next to a roaring fireplace or on a hammock in the woods, sipping a delicious chai latte, immersed in a different literary world. I have traveled to over 18 countries in which I was involved in a number of non-profit volunteer works and have gleaned wisdom and experience from an incredible and diverse group of people.
